Sodexo, global leader in quality of life services, has announced the renewal of its maintenance contract with South East Queensland water and sewerage service provider Unitywater.

Sodexo team in UnitywaterThe new contract will see Sodexo self-perform the majority of facilities management (FM) services for Unitywater, including grounds maintenance, building maintenance and cleaning services across a large geographical footprint and hundreds of sites.

Sodexo will introduce a leading-edge facilities software solution for this contract which provides centralised, real-time visibility of all activities with field-based mobility, enabling Sodexo’s operators and subcontractors to receive, accept, update and close-out work orders remotely.

Unitywater provides essential sewage treatment and water supply services to communities in Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa. Unitywater operates in one of the fastest growing regions of Australia, serving more than 16 percent of Queensland’s population. 

Under the renewal, Sodexo is contracted for an initial term of five years.
