Cultivating Culture and Origins

Sodexo values the unique cultural backgrounds reflected across our workforce. Our Global Taskforce on Cultures and Origins promotes workplace diversity, driving respect and understanding across cultural differences. 

We also work with our suppliers and partners to promoting inclusion, working with local organisations and advocacy groups to engage with and empower vulnerable and minority groups.

Refugee Employment Program 

Refugee-status Australians can experience barriers to employment such as cultural differences, limited social networks, work experience, language proficiency, and unconscious bias. 

As a responsible employer, Sodexo partnered with South West Metro TAFE, to train and support refugee jobseekers to be able to enter the workforce and gain employment in the FIFO industry.

This is a new life for me, and I am so happy to be with Sodexo. Sodexo have accepted us and looked after us. They gave me a chance when no one would during COVID, it was difficult getting a job in Australia.
