We empower women in our business and in local communities, holding ourselves accountable for reaching our gender targets in senior leaders and management.
Our SoTogether global advisory board drives our global gender equality strategy, and our employees can join our SoTogether Gender Network to address gender concerns.

We have many actions in place to elevate equity in our organisation, addressing unconscious bias, and provide growth opportunities across race, ethnicity, and refugee status. As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, Sodexo, is committed to respect the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and those established under UNs Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People. Since Sodexo began its operations in Australia in 1984, we have continued to engage with and provide opportunities for Indigenous Australians and the local communities where we operate. Guided by our Reconciliation Action Plan, we have listened, learned and directly engaged with these communities to develop new ways of working together.
We provide opportunities to access initiatives supporting disability inclusion
One in five people in Australia live with a disability – whether invisible or invisible. As an employer, we want to enable everyone to reach their full potential. That means educating our people about disability inclusion and supporting those who live with a disability. Our global approach is driven by a global Disability Voice Taskforce comprised of employees from around the world and our local approach by our Ability Network.
