Yesterday, February 19, marked a significant milestone for Sodexo Australia as we officially launched our September 2025 – August 2028 Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) during the 2026 #SodexoAustralia Leadership Conference.

For over 15 years, Sodexo has been committed to the journey of reconciliation, but we recognise there is always more to achieve. This new RAP challenges us to move beyond "awareness" and focus on "action," setting a clear path toward meaningful and measurable progress.

The launch event featured inspiring speeches from Karen Mundine, CEO of Reconciliation Australia, and Kate O'Hara, CEO of Foodbank WA. Their passion and insights underscored the importance of collaboration and community-driven initiatives. Karen Mundine’s unwavering support and contributions to our RAP have been instrumental in shaping our vision. Kate O'Hara highlighted the impactful partnership between Sodexo and Foodbank WA, our national charity partner, as we work together to combat food insecurity across the country.
Aligned with our strategic pillars, the RAP is underpinned by four key enablers that guide our efforts to foster culturally safe pathways, strengthen meaningful partnerships, and drive enduring reconciliation outcomes:

  • Thriving Together
  • Responding Together
  • Growing Diverse Supply Chains
  • Strengthening Food Security

At Sodexo, we believe that doing good business means making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. This RAP is our commitment to turning that belief into action, driving us closer to the ultimate goal: a more reconciled Australia for all.
