Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life services, has successfully extended its 20 year partnership with ASC by signing a further 5 year contract deal to deliver integrated services, taking the relationship to 25 years.

 
 
ASC is Australia’s largest specialised defence shipbuilding organisation and is responsible for submarine sustainment and the construction of major steel-hulled warships for the Australian Defence Force. With more than 2,400 employees across ASC’s three facilities in South Australia and Western Australia, ASC has evolved into Australia’s largest specialised Defence shipbuilding organisation, with naval design and engineering resources unparalleled within Australia’s defence industry.
 
Sodexo provides food services, cleaning, laundry, hygiene and waste services, as well as landscaping and pest control services for ASC. Under the new contracts, Sodexo will continue to deliver quality of life services as part of an integrated solution across ASC corporate office and construction facilities over a five and two year term with ASC’s submarine sustainment facilities, ASC North, in South Australia and ASC West, located in Western Australia, and ASC’s Shipbuilding facility, ASC South in South Australia, respectively.
 
ASC supports Sodexo’s mission to improve Quality of Life and both companies share an absolute commitment to Corporate Responsibility. The renewed contract supports value-led initiatives addressing waste reduction, facilitating disability inclusion and building stronger working relationships with Indigenous communities. Sodexo will also leverage its Reconciliation Australia’s RAP Elevate experience and learnings to support ASC build their own RAP commitments.
