Workplace Pride Advocates 2020-2023
Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity
LGBTQ+ inclusion is about creating a welcoming and positive environment where LGBTQ+ people are treated with dignity. Sodexo is committed to eliminating all forms of discrimination and to supporting and standing up for LGBTQ+ people so everyone feels encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
We champion an inclusive environment where all sexual orientations and gender identities are welcomed and respected. We’re proud of the significant progress in LGBTQ+ inclusion we’ve made in Australia. Our journey has been recognised by the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) in 2023 with Bronze Employer status.
Through our partnerships and employee PRIDE network, Sodexo is committed to workplace equality, offering development opportunities and fostering a culture of acceptance. Our efforts aim to empower LGBTQ+ employees and allies, advocating for their rights and inclusion.
Pride Network
Sodexo’s PRIDE network is an Employee Based Resource Group which aims to educate and raise awareness on the issues facing LGBTQA+ employees. The Australian PRIDE network is aligned with its Global Pride Group, an initiative established in 18 countries, including USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil, UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
