The majority of our operations around the world comply with international ISO 9001, HACCP and OSHAS 18001 safety standards.
We are committed to exemplary Health and Safety performance which is regularly recognised by our clients and external organisations.
Quality of Life for a safer workforce
In spite of all the necessary controls and protections that the industry has introduced to reach the best HSE standards, it is acknowledged that incidents due to human behaviours still occur. One of our objectives is to understand and address human factors in safety performance.

On the job training
We appreciate staff work in dynamic environments on many sites, so all new starters wear a red cap to ensure they receive support from their colleagues in the first few months of their new role.
The three stages of this program, ‘Inform, Demonstrate, Assess’, all focus on making sure our staff understand the importance of safety on site.
“The coloured caps are really handy when working different shifts. Even after three months there are loads of different jobs, so this helps for others to give guidance to new staff.” Ben Matheson, Boddington NBG Gold Mine, WA
