Bab's Aboriginal Cleaning Services

BABs cleaning services

Sodexo joined forces with Rio Tinto and Many Rivers Microfinance to work with a local Aboriginal woman in the remote township of Newman to establish a local cleaning business.

Sodexo has assisted Barbara Bynder to set up Bab’s Aboriginal Cleaning Services which will grow and prosper as both a supplier to Sodexo and as a supplier within the wider community.

Sodexo developed the service agreement, donated a four-wheel drive vehicle with mine specifications, provided defensive driving training, on-the-job training and workplace buddies, and flew Barbara and her team to Perth to undertake Sodexo inductions at the new Sodexo Skills Centre.
